Shade Structure Service Areas
Where We Work
Statewide Coverage, One In-House Team
Shade is a construction project, not a catalog order. Every structure is engineered for its site, built in our own shop, and installed by our own crew.
What that means for a project outside our home market:
- No subcontracted installers and no handoffs between companies.
- Site-specific engineering for local wind, snow, soil, and UV conditions.
- One point of contact from estimate through final inspection.
- Travel and mobilization quoted openly, up front, in writing.
How a Statewide Project Runs
The process is the same in every market we serve; only the travel scheduling changes.
From first call to finished structure:
- Free consultation and site review, on-site or from drawings and photos.
- Engineered design and a written estimate with travel broken out.
- Fabrication in our New Braunfels shop, on the same timeline statewide.
- Scheduled install window, batched with nearby projects where it saves you cost.
- Walkthrough, warranty documentation, and ongoing service support.

Why Location Changes the Build
Texas is not one climate, and a structure specified for one region can underperform in another.
What we adjust market by market:
- Wind load and footing depth for the High Plains and the Panhandle.
- Fabric selection and UV rating for the intense sun of West Texas.
- Drainage and corrosion protection for Gulf Coast humidity and rainfall.
- Hail-conscious framing and fabric choices for North Texas.
- Soil and anchoring methods that vary from Hill Country limestone to Panhandle clay.
- Snow load considerations where winter weather is a real factor.
Tell us the site and we will tell you what it needs.
We Own Every Step Since 2004
Many shade providers resell catalog systems and hire local installers. We do not.
Here is what sets us apart:
- In business since 2004, installing permanent shade structures across Texas.
- One team for design, fabrication, and installation, without subcontractor handoffs.
- Commercial-grade fabric with manufacturer-backed warranties that vary by product.
- Steel frames engineered for site-specific loads, with warranty coverage on completed structures.
- Custom-built structures designed around your dimensions rather than adapted from a pre-made kit.
- BBB accreditation and hundreds of completed commercial and residential projects statewide.
- Shop drawings and engineered documentation available for permitting and review.

Texas Service Area FAQs
Which parts of Texas does ShadePro serve?
We install throughout Texas from our New Braunfels facility. Our primary markets are San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Corpus Christi. We also serve Waco, San Angelo, Midland/Odessa, Lubbock, Amarillo, and the communities in between. If your city is not listed, call us and we will confirm whether we can schedule your project.
Do you charge more for installations outside the New Braunfels area?
Travel and mobilization are part of every quote, and they scale with distance and crew time. For West Texas and Panhandle projects we often batch installs, which keeps the per-project travel cost down. Your written estimate breaks this out so there are no surprises.
Do you subcontract installation in cities far from your shop?
No. Design, fabrication, and installation are handled by our own team. The crew that builds your structure in our New Braunfels shop is the crew that installs it, whether the site is 20 miles away or across the state.
Are your structures engineered differently by region?
Yes. Wind load, snow load, soil type, and UV exposure vary widely across Texas, and each affects footing depth, frame gauge, and fabric selection. A structure specified for Lubbock wind is not the same as one specified for Gulf Coast rain in Houston.
Do you handle permits in cities you travel to?
Permit requirements vary by municipality and by project type. We tell you during the estimate whether your project is likely to need one and what the local process looks like, and we provide engineered drawings for submittal.
How long does a project take if we are outside San Antonio or Austin?
Fabrication timelines are the same statewide because everything is built in our shop. The difference is scheduling: distant installs are slotted into travel windows, which can add time between approval and install day.
Do you serve both commercial and residential clients in every city?
Yes. Commercial work, including dealerships, car washes, schools, HOAs, parks, restaurants, RV resorts, and corporate parking, makes up the majority of our statewide travel, but we install residential patio, pool, driveway, and backyard shade in these markets as well.
What if my project is outside Texas?
We have completed projects beyond the state line. Contact us with the location and scope and we will tell you honestly whether it is something we can take on.
